Edicion compartida de dos zines los cuales estan enfocados en el Punk y el Diy.El lado de "you can´t..." contiene mucho de bandas de la zona del editor,una nota acerca de las cosas que su realizador a odiado en el ultimo tiempo,acerca de seguir rastros de conejos en la nieve y lo feo que son los domingos en la mañana luego de un sabado de juerga.El lado de "rippin trash" explora mas el lado musical con muchas pero muchas reseñas(tanto a musica como zines),incluye tambien una receta vegana.A mi parecer los dos zines se complementan muy bien,haciendo de estas publicaciones algo interesante a los ojos.

Slpit zine with 2 zines focus on Punk and Diy.On the "you can´t... side you find info about abnds from where the editor come from plus notes about what he hate the most lately,how to follow rabbit tracks on the snow and how awful are sunday morning when the party last night was really wild.The "ripping trash" side offer a lot of reviews (music and zines) and a tasty vegan recipe.For me those 2 zines are very good and interesting,together makes this split just a great issue of both of them.

Una buena dosis de punkrock libertario es lo que encontramos en esta produccion.Letras muy bien pensadas y con un mensaje claro y de protesta.En la parte musical se nutre del sonido Anarcopunk de los 80´s pero combinando elementos un tanto trivales,obteniendo un sonido unico y fresco,pero a la vez un tanto siniestro y oscuro.Musica combativa,la cual mediante sus textos hace que la musica tome un caracter de lucha y protesta.

Este ep posse canciones las cuales son totalmente oscuras pero de alguna manera agresivas y frescas.Con un sonido PostPunk con alma garagera.Este proyecto de Peru nos entrega melodias con distorsiones de guitarra y un trabajo vocal el cual es hipnotioc y misterioso.Con un aire a las producciones de los 80´s por el hecho de haber sido grabado de forma low fi.Le da un marco mistico y de oscuridad a su musica.Interesante propuesta musical.

Desde Alemania,nos llega este zine el cual es simplemente EXCELENTE!!!!!.el tema principal de esta publicacion son las fotos a bandas en concierto.Sabiendo que conciertos son el lugar comun donde converge la pasion,la furia y la diversion,este zine toma documento de 18 bandas en vivo en generos como el Hardcore y el Punk.En un total de 31 paginas a full color y en papel couche(lo que le da un efecto demasiado bueno a las fotos) nos entrega momentos en el tiempo que nos identifica como una escena.Excelente trabajo que merece ser apoyado (y obviamente disfrutado).Escrito en aleman.

Caminos "donde no brilla el sol"

Mas que acertado el nombre de este ep,el cual contiene 4 temas que son por demas emocionales y furiosos.Hardcore moderno y oscuro (de ahi que el nombre del ep cae a la perfeccion).Una voz desgarradora la cual nos cuenta acerca de esperanzas,de decepciones,de arrepentimientos,en otras palabras acerca de la vida misma.Musicalmente el sonido es compacto y bastante pesado,con una atmosfera oscura en las guitarras y una bateria la cual sin ser demasiado acelerada,le da el tiempo perfecto para poder crear canciones las cuales tienen un aire de melancolia que se funde con mucha agresividad.Por demas recomendable esta produccion.

Un interesante zine el cual tiene tema principal el Skateboard,en este numero puedes encontrar muy buenas fotos y por el hecho de que el zine es en copia,le da a las imagenes una dimension mas intensa.Reporte acerca de Alburquerque,una muy interesante entrevista con la leyenda Karma Tsocheff,un top 5 con John Cardiel y como dije muchas muchas fotos.Se nota que el editor disfruta mucho lo que hace tanto en el medio de zine como en el skateboard.Vale de todas maneras leer y disfrutar el zine.Escrito en ingles.

Salido hace casi nada,esta banda que ya tiene tocando varios años,nos entrega un nuevo trabajo el cual desprende energia y brutalidad desde un principio.Son 12 temas los que contiene este Lp,donde abundan los breakdowns,los riff y la bateria caotica,junto a una voz brutal que le da el marco de violencia y poder justo a cada tema.Su estilo musical va por el lado del Hardcore y Punk con toques de Crust,todo combinado de manera en la cual hace cada tema una bomba.Excelente album debut.

Nueva entrega de este ya establecido zine,el cual se centra en varios puntos los cuales son : reseñas de zine,lista de penpals y anuncios de otras publicaciones.Pero tambien incluyendo seccion de cartas y un largo prologo lo cual es bastante interesante.Lo que me gusta mucho de este zine es que trata de darle a las publicaciones en papel el lugar el cual se lo tiene ganado,usando y promoviendo la comunicacion por carta antes que la virtual.Para quienes quienen expandir su base de datos,este zine es super recomendable,para quienes son algo "nuevos" y quieren empezar a escribir cartas y zines,este zine es de una ayuda increible.Escrito en ingles.

Segundo trabajo de esta banda de Hardcore,la cual en  7 temas deja mas que claro que lo suyo es la velocidad y agresividad,pero tambien le da espacio para las melodias un tanto suaves y melancolicas,se le podria decir que es un Hardcore oscuro y moderno.En tiempos es los cuales esta descripcion quizas es demasiado generica,esta banda demuestra no solo que saben tocar si no tambien que aprecian y viven lo que hacen.Canciones las cuales son personales pero tiene el poder de hacer que te identifiquen,algo nada facil,hay que decirse.Una produccion que de hecho no solo te deja satifecho por su sonido pero tambien te hara pensar.

Constellations "failure and consequences"

Esta banda tiene un sonido bastante pesado y a medio tiempo.Lo suyo va por el lado del Metalcore haciendo enfasis en el Metal.Guitarras con muchos cambios y doble bombo ademas de una voz la cual es furiosa pero a la vez se deja entender.Temas que crean atmosferas fuertes pero a la vez con mucho sentimiento.Con solo 5 temas han logrado el crear una obra muy bien ejecutada.No puedo esperar a poder verlos en vivo.

Interesante zine el cual se centra en historias acerca de fantasmas.Mas alla de creer o no en ellos lo que puedes disfrutar aqui es de una lectura bastante interesante y llena de paralelismos la cual ayuda a crear una atmosfera bastante creible acerca de los relatos.Dos historias es lo que contiene esta publicacion,la primera se centra en el hecho de que un fantasma aterroriza y trata de matar a la editora y la otra un poco mas relajada y de alguna manera tierna acerca de una niña que trata siempre de jugar con quien hace el zine.Escrito de manera coloquial lo cual hace los relatos interesantes y llenos de pequeños detalles.Escrito en ingles.

Media hora la cual se pasa tan rapido que uno ni se da cuenta..y por que?...por que la musica aqui es tan sensible,emotiva,bien ejecutada que lo unico que a uno le queda hacer es disfrutar.Album debut de este duo Aleman el cual practica un Poprock con algo de Indie y un tanto de Acustico,sabiendo hacer musica que una vez oida no se te sale de la cabeza,lo cual es un logro,el cual a base de canciones sinceras,y faciles de identificarse liricamente.Me hizo recordar a los principios de esta decada.Mas alla de poder encajar a su musica dentro de un estilo especifico una frase encierra el el como poder oir a la banda: cierra los ojos y disfruta.

World Eater "idem"

Provenientes de Alemania,esta banda ha creado un 7" el cual desde un comienzo es una declaracion de principios y de la manera de como estos chicos ven la vida y el mundo.Lo suyo va por el lado del Hardcore Old School,bastante pesado a medio tiempo(a veces mas rapido) y con una voz extremadamente furiosa.Una produccion solida y muy bien ciudada tanto en sonido como en presentacion.Lo cual no hace mas que esperar un larga duracion de ellos,pero mientras tanto el disfrutar de esta producion se hace mas que inevitable.

Interesante manera de presentar un zine musical,ya que trabaja desde un punto de vista local y presenta un completo dossier de conciertos los cuales se haran en la zona donde vive el editor.Cuenta ademas con reseñas de musica y festivales.Bien escrito y con mucha info de interes,hace de este zine un buen documento para saber donde/cuando/como llegara diferentes lugares en donde se puede disfrutar de buena musica.Escrito en ingles.

Yuck "idem"

Con temas que tienen un sonido el cual te atrapa y muchas guitarras distorsionadas,esta banda nos entrega un album llenos de melodias que no se pueden dejar pasar.Con un sonido bastante semejante a las bandas de los 90´s pero dejando espacio para la innovacion musical.Yuck es ese tipo de bandas las cuales nunca llegas a cansarte de oir.Pero aunque les gusta experimentar con el noise tambien pudes oir canciones calmadas y llenas de sentimiento y es ahi donde este album se hace interesante al oir ya que cubre muchas emociones.Un excelente trabajo.

Una de esas bandas las cuales luego de oirlas por primera vez sabes que vas a pasar muchas horas mas oyendo a su musica.Con pinceladas de Punk,Folk,Indierock y mucho sentimiento,estos chicos han creado un album que se entrelaza entre si,pero dejando bien claro que cada cancion es una historia y una realidad de por si.Tocando musica a medio tiempo que se da lugar para un poco de velocidad en algunas canciones,todo esto con una voz que tiene mucha calidez.Una produccion que no deja ningun momento de mostrar la pasion de estos chicos por hacer musica.

Weye "live at greg´s II,semi anual practice"

Con tan solo 5 temas,esta banda explora el Math-Rock con unos pinceles de Midwest.Temas a medio tiempo que tienen una fuerza bastante notable.El sonido de la grabacion por mas de ser un ensayo es bastante clara y se puede apreciar de manera intensa todos los instrumentos.Como es comun en este estilo el peso de los temas recarga en la guitarra con buenos cambios de ritmo,pero la bateria aqui tambien juega un papel importante dandole a los temas la velocidad precisa.Un excelente cassette.

SkatePunk zine con un buen trabajo de diagramacion,el cual es a corta y pega.Tienes la oportunidad de leer entrevistas abandas y personas involucradas en el HardcorePunk ademas de muchas columnas de corte personal,abordando una infinidad de temas distintos.La manera en la cual esta escrito el zine es muy amigable y facil de entender.Aunque este zine tiene muchas paginas,al final de leerlo te queda la sensacion de querer leer mas y mas aun.

Dios Trio "high on bikes"

Son 9 temas de melodico Math-rock el cual se mezcla con melodias Pop y algo de Emo Midwest,haciendo de cada cancion un universo lleno de arreglos,sonido y texturas.Musica instrumental con buena estructuracion,a medio tiempo,pero conservando una linea melodica constante.Lo interesante de este album es que aunque cada tema tiene un espiritu y sonido un tanto distinto al terminar de oir todo los temas sientes una cierta coneccion entre ellos,es decir el sonido fluye naturalmente entre cancion y cancion.Un buen disco el cual merece ser parte de tu coleccion.

Este proyecto surgio como surgen los zines de 24 horas,es decir limite de tiempo estos chicos se decidieron juntarse,practicar y grabar todo en 3 semanas!!!.Lo que puedes oir aqui es Punk Melodico con vocales femeninas,grabados de una manera totalmente low-fi con harto punche y sentimiento.Temas acerca de la vida y zines.Las melodias tiene un cierto tufillo a principios de los 90´s (ya sabes antes del mtv y demas),la vocalista tiene un registro vocal provocativo y a veces un poco oscuro.La manera el cual este demo fue grabado hace que la musica tenga una atmosfera muy Diy.Excelentes temas,muy buena musica.

This project came out the same way the 24 hour zines do,with only 3 weeks time,the meet,practice and recorded!!!!.What you get is a really good Melodic Punk with female vocals,recorded in a very low-fi way with a lot of heart and power.Songs about life and zines.The melodies ahve some 90´s sound air (you knwo the time before Mtv and such).The singer have a great voice very melodic and something kind of dark.The way they make this demo has a very Diy spirit.Excellent songs,great music.

Lo que me gusta acerca de primera ediciones,es que tu puedes realmente ver que el/la editor(a) quiere mostrar de mejor manera su trabajo.Este zine no es la excepcion a la regla.Un poco de Perzine un poco de Artzine y mucho corazon en estas paginas.Un interesante articulo acerca de la editora haciendo de modelo desnuda para una clase de arte,otro acerca de el placer de escribir cartas,un muy bonito comic y una competicion de escritura acerca de como seria el mundo si es que los zines(el hacer/leer/distribuir) fuera prohibido por ley.La idea me parecio muy buena e interesante.Cosas para disfrutat tanto leyendo como observando.No puedo esperar a ver una nueva edicion de esta buena publicacion.

what i like about first issues is that you can really see that the editor want to show the best of his/her work.This zines is no the exception to the rule.A bit of Perzine and a bit of aArtzine and a lot of heart into those pages.an interesting article about the experience of being naked model for a art class,another about writing letters and penpaling.A nice comic and also a competition about how can look our world(the zinesters world) if zine are prohibited by law,where you need to writeher a letter or email and talk about your idea of how this world can looks like,i found the idea very cool and i hope i win this competition.Stuff to enjoy reading and looking.I cant wait to see the next issue of this honestly good zine.

En solo 6 temas nos podemos hacer toda una paleta de sonidos,desde los dulces hata los oscuros,mezclando el Indie,Jangle Pop y una pizca de Dream Pop,lo cual todo combinado nos presenta una banda que aunque toma estas influencias,crea musica totalmente honesta y fresca.Hablando de la vida de una manera metaforica,en tiempos realista,pero siempre interesante,hace de este lanzamiento algo digno de ser tomado en cuenta.

Edicion debut de este zine Aleman,el cual tiene un punto fuerte en el Hardcore.la forma en que esta diseñado es bastante bueno ya que tiene espacio para poder leer sin problemas pero a la vez tiene algo de imagenes y fotos.Puedes encontrar entrevistas,articulos,reseñas y columnas.Todo esto redactado de una manera bastante coloquial lo cual hace que se disfrute la lectura de manera inmediata.De seguro hay algunas cosas que para la segunda edicion podrian ser un tanto distintas,pero dentro de todo este primer numero demuestra de manera muy clara las ganas que tienen los editores de contribuir a la escena de fanzines de su zona y ademas de poder ser una ventana de expresion para la escena Hardcore.Buen numero de debut eso es definitivo.Escrito en aleman e ingles.

Debut issue of theis German zine,which has a strong central point in Hardcore,the layout is very good,clearn and with enough place to read what is writing but also place to see some images and photos.You can find the usual stuff as interviews,columns,reviews.All that writing in a very friendly and honest way,something that make that you enjoy a lot the reading.For sure are soem things to chance for the next issue but this first one show the desire of the editors to contribute to the zine scene of their town to get place to help the Hardcore scene.A great debut issue there is no doubt about it.Writing in german and english.

10 canciones las cuales tiene el poder de atrapar tu interes inmediatamente,y es que esta banda ha sabido combinar sonidos Indie,Punk y una pizca de Folk,haciendo temas los cuales estan llenos no solo de melodia pero tambien de sentimiento.Cantando sobre la vida diaria y los diferentes problemas que se tienen que enfrentar en el dia a dia.El sonido de la banda tiene la velocidad justa para poder oir todo los intrumentos de manera clara,la mayoria de temas tienen un buena dosis de Punk melodico del midwest y la voz del cantante tiene un claro registro de Folk.En algo mas de 20 minutos tienes un puñado de temas los cuales estoy seguro que vas a disfrutar.

Banda la cual ya tiene un par de años editando material de manera Diy pero con mucha calidad.Este es su mas reciente trabajo encontramos 13 temas,para poder disfrutar de principio a fin.Su sonido se nutre de varias corrientes musicales.Puedes encontrar elementos del Indie,Emo,Math-rock.las melodias tienen una velocidad que es facil de disfrutar y el trabajo vocal es limipio y claro con algo de sonido Folk.Este es el tipo de albums el cual puedes oir una y otra y otra y otra vez sin nunca cansarte.Excelente produccion.
